Logan Heights is a neighborhood in central San Diego bordered by Interstate 5 on the south and west, Interstate 15 on the east, and Imperial Avenue on the north. It is east of Golden Hill and Grant Hill which as many residents claim has the best view of San Diego Bay. The Grant Hill Park is said to have the most panoramic views of the Coronado Bridge, San Diego Bay, Petco Park and Downtown. Grant Hill attracts people because of its wonderful and colorful historic homes. The southern part of the original Logan Heights neighborhood came to be called Barrio Logan. Barrio Logan is known as the home of Chicano Park and located just under the Coronado Bridge connecting Coronado Island with the City of San Diego. The community includes the 32nd Naval Station as well as the NASSCO shipyard and other military related and businesses. The Barrio Logan Community Plan is currently being updated for future improvements development.
